Exceptional cutting capacity
MACHINE FEATURES:
All main machine components are in cast iron:
monolithic bow, bow support with hinge pin,
centring ring, reducer box, vice base and vice
carriage.
Bow rotation for angled cuts from 0 to 45°
left with pre-set stops at 0 & 45°, graduated
line, mechanical stops and lever for
intermediate positions.
steel resting base in with groove for band.
Base turns in conjunction with bow so it
supports parts even during angled cuts and
prevents cutting into vice base.
Deep angled opening in vice base to improve
swarf discharge.
2-speed three-phase motor (0.75/1.1 Kw)
transmission carried out by means of
screw-ring reducer in oil bath 1:40 ratio for
36-71 m/min speed. ( the single-phase machine
has only 1 speed)
Bow inclination, blade development and
fly-wheel diameter have been calculated so as to
limit the yielding of band and increase its
life-span.
Mechanical tensioning of band with spring to
ensure uniformity and constancy of tightening
19mm band supported by two blade-guides with
hard metal plaques, adjustable in relation to
dimensions of part to be cut.
Electro-pump for lubrication/refrigeration of
bands
Mechanical vice group adjustable, with lever
for rapid closing, hand wheel for slow closing
and lever for rapid clamp.
Accident prevention safety devices: fly-wheel
guards with motor stop in case of opening, blade
protection guards, blade start with
man-present protection against accidental
start-up, low voltage controls, lockable main
switch.
Possibility of making calibration of
mechanical stops at 0° and 45° left, of
balancing springs, of hinge pin and of bows
perpendicularly to ensure cutting precision
remains constant in time.
